Finally managed to get the sessions started again after a few months break.

Now getting front and back ones removed. I forgot how painful it was, however I just had to 'Man-Up' :)

Final Session..... or is it...

So last Thursday I had my 4th session of part of the £80 deal I got.
A little disappointed that it has not 'gone', but he did tell me it would take more than the 4 sessions.

Did not hurt as much this time, and it looks well.
I have paid for 5 more sessions (another deal) for £240! But he is going to start on the one on the back in the same sessions so it's a 2 for 1 really.

Got another session the start of November, will post an updated image then but for now here it is before I went in last week.

Session 3, Done!

Wow, this one hurt. I hope he does not have an '11' setting on the laser otherwise it will go through me!

So, this is the morning after session 3. As expected it will take more than 1 more session but I do hope to see some improvement with this one.

It is going to be a few weeks before the blisters settle down, then we will see how good a job it has had.

Painful, yes! Again only through the laser session. Days after it is bruised but that is it. No pain, no scabs, no itching - just a horrible sight!

I'll post again in a few weeks for comparison photos.

Thanks

Six weeks after the last session and here is the progress.

If you compare it to previous images, it is going but it is going to take more than 2 more sessions.

Session 2 - Crank it up!

Time for session 2... I could not remember how it was last time so the nerves were ok.
I got to the appointment and my new friend of pain started to hit the yellow belly of Taz with a low frequency. This proved to be a doddle, however he was not happy..
"We didn't hear the popping sound, that means it will not really do much and so next time we will have to crank it up"
No I thought! This was easy, I didn't feel a thing! So back to the Black/Brown and he cranked it up from 0.5 to 1.5 (I wonder if it has 11 ?).

OUCH! Toes curling, chair gripping the lot! You will see how it is from the photo....

One thing I have mentioned is how it goes 'green' immediately after the treatment but only for a very short period of time. I managed to get a photo this time (it has Aloe Vera on here, hence the shine).

This effect does not last long however and a few hours later it was like this:

Very angry, I guess you would be after been hit around 600 times with a laser!

The pain is not too bad now and this morning it has blistered a lot like I was told... The trick is to not pop the blisters and just let it heal naturally. This morning it looks like this (side profile to show the blisters):

This will last a couple of weeks now and I will be sure to post regular updates to show the fading.
Next appointment is in 6/7 weeks time and I cannot wait.. Especially after he told me that he will crank it up to 2 next, for the whole thing!

Getting lighter

So, a couple of weeks since the first real session.
Everything pretty much healed now and some bruising that did occur has gone.
Still a bit tender in some areas but nothing to worry about. You just need to keep rubbing in the Aloe Vera etc...

It's another 4 weeks before the next session and it should disperse more between now and then.

Overall I am pleased with the first session results. It isn't going to go over night after the first blast, it's all about patience. Some key areas like eyes etc.. have gone down well.
You can see where some outline has moved too which is good.

I will get a better camera set up for progress, the iPhone is not ideal!

Session 1 complete

Yesterday was the first full session of the laser on Taz.
508 shots in total over all but his chest. The reason for not doing the chest this time was due to the frequency of the laser needed to disperse yellow. With the frequency used for black/brown it would oxidise the yellow causing it to go black.
Therefore next time the full tattoo will be hit as the frequency will change.

So how was it? For the full day the nerves were kicking in along with the sickness feeling in the stomach.
I sat in the chair at 4pm and was out 5 mins later. The pain however was a I remembered it before! An elastic band hitting you from about 4 feet away. I am sure the cryogenic air helps but you still hold your breath and clinch the arm of the chair!

Afterwards it was very swollen and looks like it does now, blocs blistered. Judging by the foot that got done last time, this should heal quickly with visible results.

I will continue to post weekly updates of the healing until my next session in 6 week time.

The swelling has gone down this morning and no pain really. A little discomfort maybe but nothing major.

Next time I will try to get a photo immediately after the treatment that shows the tattoo as one big green mess. It's only a netter of seconds before it goes like it does now but it's very impressive.
